What a Knight

The Provincial Prior Colin Dann finally managed to pin down E.Kt. Robin Durant, at a joint Malta meeting of De Warrene No. 126 and Thornton Preceptory No. 208 held in the beautiful main Temple at Brighton, where he was able to present him with the Knight Templar Merit Award (for very distinguished service).

Robin was a little taken aback.

We heard a pre’cis of Robin’s very distinguished Masonic career, having served over 50 years in Craft and Royal Arch and very distinguished service in many other Orders.

Robin is truly an inspiration to all of us, he was a mentor to many of us and I’m proud to have been under his guidance in my first steps in Knight Templar Freemasonry.

We are all very proud of you Robin.
