The mission of Scotswood Garden is to inspire and promote learning about nature, the environment and sustainable living, whilst having a positive impact on people’s health & wellbeing. The 3 acre community garden and designated Local Wildlife Site is stunning and boasts a woodland, 3 wildlife ponds, 2 meadows, one of the oldest Forest Gardens in England, a kitchen garden, beehives, an accessible growing space and 2 Forest School areas.
Scotswood Garden Dev Mgr was delighted to receive a cheque for £2,500 which will fund weekly Nature Ranger sessions for 6-9yr olds.
